TABOR RECREATIONAL AREA – 427th Avenue on Tabor Rec Road located five miles south of Tabor. Has picnic facilities and small boat ramp access to Lewis and Clark Lake. Primitive camping facilities are also available. There is no electrical service or drinking water and a South Dakota State Park sticker is required.

BIRDING AREA – 427th Avenue on Tabor Rec Road located four miles south on designated Walk-In Areas authorized by the South Dakota Game Fish and Parks. Many species and varieties of birds may be observed in the wild.

PICNICING AREA – 165 North Springfield Avenue in Takota Park Picnic shelters, playground, and softball field. Private Swimming Pool, shares available.
